Caroline Gasparini believes in an intersectional approach to social change. A passionate communicator and storyteller, she is dedicated to advocating for an equitable and just society by centering the voices and stories of people most impacted by the issues with which she works. At Spitfire, she is proud to partner with clients working to advance criminal justice reform, defend civil rights, and end racial and economic injustice.
A skilled writer and dedicated advocate, Caroline helps organizations spark change through smart messaging, powerful storytelling, and strategic media relations. She is a member of Spitfire’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee and the moderator of Pride Pod, which provides a safe space for LGBTQ+ Spitfires to support one another and work together to build community.
Before joining Spitfire, Caroline interned on the Global Initiatives team at Out & Equal, a nonprofit dedicated to achieving global LGBTQ+ workplace equality. There, she wrote web content, email campaigns, and other communications materials for international projects, including a webinar on transgender-inclusive workplaces in India and a forum on LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion in Brazil. Prior to Out & Equal, Caroline managed workplace experience for a tech start-up, building out the company culture initiatives focused on EDI. She is dedicated to fostering an equitable and welcoming workplace environment, both with her fellow Spitfires and her clients.
Proudly hailing from upstate New York, Caroline graduated from Smith College with a B.A. in American studies and a minor in economics. Her passion for writing to advance social justice was ignited at Smith, where she concentrated her coursework on the impact of mass incarceration on the LGBTQ+ community.
