Alex started at Spitfire on the Learning Team, where he assisted in developing training programs that enhanced strategic thinking and communication skills across numerous nonprofits, foundations and executive leaders across the country. His role quickly grew to include managing budgets and logistics for major training programs and ensuring efficient operations. Prior to Spitfire, his communications career started as a communications intern at Morgan State University. He also worked at Abel Communications and Imre, managing client accounts and securing media coverage, and served as a marketing coordinator at the Endocrine Society, planning their annual conference.
Based in Washington, D.C., Alex is a proud product of the DMV, specifically from Maryland, and a graduate of the state's top HBCU, Morgan State University. Beyond the office, Alex is a devoted member of the BeyHive and a RuPaul's Drag Race aficionado, which is the reason for his strong and vibrant work ethic. He immerses himself in the drama-filled world of Real Housewives (all franchises), the captivating realms of anime, and the thrilling adventures within the Marvel universe. As a 90s baby at heart, you'll find Alex gaming and enjoying the laughter-filled chaos of thrilling Pokémon, Super Smash Bros., or Tekken battles. These eclectic interests fuel Alex's creative energy and contribute to his dynamic success at Spitfire.
