She/her/hers

Aoife Hopkins

Account Coordinator

Aoife has turned her knack for language and community-building into a career, working in communications since high school. Her background, including social media management, nonprofit development, and grassroots organizing, led her to Spitfire. Before joining, she worked with a youth organizing nonprofit, arts and science museums, a library advocacy organization, and a hiring platform to support programs that promote the education of children and young adults. She attributes her passion for social justice to her upbringing in a multicultural household and her parents' careers as public educators. At Spitfire, Aoife has worked on topics from tech ethics to sustainability, and is often responsible for narrative landscaping and developing visual content. Aoife earned a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin and is a native of the area. Outside work, Aoife can often be found at the gym, exploring a museum, traveling abroad, scrapbooking, or watching YouTube videos about women’s history.
