Diana Chun

Director

Diana sees strategic communications as a path to creating a fairer and more just world. Diana brings a decade of strategic communications experience across nonprofit advocacy, policy and social innovation to her work at Spitfire. Her portfolio at Spitfire includes clients working on high-impact solutions to some of the world’s most intractable problems, including higher education, early childhood development, affordable housing and homelessness, racial justice, public health, disaster relief and recovery. Diana has a long track record of sparking change. Prior to Spitfire, Diana was the communications and program manager at the Early Learning Lab, a nonprofit that uses human-centered design and technology to meet the needs of young children and families. She led communications to support participating community members and share their stories, highlighting the difference it can make when organizations co-design solutions with the people they serve. Previously, Diana was the communications director at Early Edge California, where she helped to mobilize coalition partners and drive winning campaigns to secure access to education for 125,000 young children in California. While there, she wrote and placed opinion pieces across the state for a range of voices including parents, educators, executive directors and state legislators.
