Ethan Savino

Account Coordinator

Ethan is a storyteller who believes that creating change requires bringing that change to the people. Growing up in North Carolina and spending his university years in rural Tennessee and New York left him with an adaptive communication style and passion for bringing folks into the fold. While his background in environmental and climate science and policy, his work at Spitfire encompasses mental health and economic development, racial justice, and defending critical institutions through tracking media and policy trends, creative storytelling, and supporting creative design efforts. Before joining Spitfire, Ethan interned with for his hometown of Greensboro, NC’s Office of Sustainability and Resilience, at a DC-based environmental communications firm, and completed a graduate thesis identifying a novel method for municipalities to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions from landfill waste. Now, you can find him in Washington, D.C., studying contemporary issues, visiting a museum, or hearing what folks on the bus have to say about things.
