Kathryn is energized by working with people. She has 25 years of experience constructing simple and well-executed human resources (HR) solutions for private and public sector employers. As Spitfire’s vice president of human resources and a member of the management team, Kathryn guides and directs HR services, policies and programs. Kathryn is a creative problem-solver who values diverse perspectives, fosters collaboration and believes in the power of lifelong learning. Kathryn began her HR career in Silicon Valley. She later spent 12 years at the Judicial Council of California before becoming the director of human resources for the Superior Court of California in Santa Clara County. After relocating to the East Coast, Kathryn was a senior knowledge advisor for the Society of Human Resource Management before joining Spitfire. Kathryn earned her master’s in social work from the University of Michigan. She continues to be inspired by its vision: “A Better Society Through Individual and Social Change.”
